DOES POETRY FLOW IN YOUR VEINS?
DOES ‘SOLACE’ MEAN ‘RHYME AND RHYTHM’ TO YOU?
ARE YOU FAMILIAR WITH RUPI KAUR, NIKITA GILL AND R.H. SIN?
Hi fellas! I’m Kashish, a poetry enthusiast, writer and part-time student. I was exposed to the world of poetry when I was five and was thoroughly enchanted by how if words were carefully crafted together could create fantastical stories and tales. My first piece of work, however silly and trivial it might have been, unlocked a world of creativity for me. A safe haven to explore the workings of my inner self and to satiate my desire of conceiving something meaningful all the time.
It has been ten years since I first read ‘Sam the fat cat’ (a poem I was coerced to read in school) and I have never looked back since. This very passion that I’ve for poetry lead me to start this blog. To introduce you to the beauty and power of words I’ve known since my childhood and to voice out my emotions through an arranged rhythmic sequencing of words and phrases (aka exaggerated way of saying poems) *laughs evilly*
Anyhow, I hope you find comfort, familiarity, courage, peace, joy and a lot more in my words.
Keep reading poetry!
Xo,
Kashish

My sixth blog is out. This one explores the intricacies of our very mind.
How does it feel to be held prisoner by your own self? What do we do when there’s so much to say but nothing comes out?
Read to find out.
Happy Reading!
